Review by hotel critic
Staying at the Wellington Hotel in London was a smooth experience, especially for my recent business trip alongside a friend from the States. I was pleasantly upgraded to an Executive Suite, which offered ample space to work remotely. The wi-fi was reliable, making video calls a breeze. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood near Victoria Station, the hotel is central, with attractions like Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey just a 15-minute walk away. The bar/lounge served a good selection of light meals, and the outdoor space was perfect for unwinding after a long day of meetings. The business center was functional, and I appreciated having a 24-hour reception on hand for any late-night queries. While the breakfast price felt a bit steep at £17, I found several nearby cafes offering more affordable options. The Wellington Hotel serves as a practical choice for business travelers, balancing convenience with a calm atmosphere. I’ll definitely consider it for my future trips to London.
